NEI’s educational outreach program to
Capitol Hill, think tanks, trade unions
and other trade associations. The
program includes hosting fact-finding
trips to nuclear energy facilities in
the U.S. as well as France, England,
Amsterdam and Japan. Additionally,
Michael oversees the administration
of the association’s Governmental
Affairs Division.
Robert Bauer ’74
lives with his wife
of 35 years, Marcia, in Ambler, PA near
Philadelphia. After 25 years at Wells
Fargo he joined First Niagara Bank as
First VP in Commercial Banking.
WilliamHadbrouck ’74
has retired and
moved to fabulous and sunny Las Vegas
with his wife Carol. They are enjoying the
many beautiful things this great country
has to offer out west. They have also
begun cruising and enjoyed an Alaskan
cruise inMay 2013.
Gary Hayes ’75
book “Leading in
Turbulent Times” was translated and
released in China this past summer
having been translated into Mandarin.
Paul Karas ’75
is in his 23rd year as an
anesthesiologist at Sisters Hospital.
Louis Testa ’75
completed Electrical
Design and Engineering for two unit 400
MWgas turbine power plants outside of
Toronto, Ontario. He recently received
his PE license for the states of Texas and
New Jersey.
Fr. Michael Corcoran, S.J. ’76
,
is the
principal and director of a new Jesuit
high school on the island of Yap in the
Western Pacific.
Paul Diehl ’76,
Henning Larsen Professor
at University of Illinois has been named
Director of Undergraduate Research at
that university.
John Aguglia ’77
and his wife Cynthia
completed their transfer to Albany area,
and October 24, 2012, celebrated their
25th Anniversary. John also received
a promotion to Discount Program
Specialist for NYSUT Member Benefits.
Michelangelo Infurnari ’77
has been a
professional fundraising executive for the
past 30 years. He currently works at the
Water Reuse Research Foundation
in Alexandria, VA. He specializes in fund
raising for professional associations.
Timothy Carlin ’78
was elected
President of theWest Point Association
of Graduates of Greater Kansas City and
selected to the board of trustees for The
Command and General Staff College at
Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.
Peter Ciotta ’80
joined DuPont in 2011
as Communications Consultant, Yerkes
Site, North American Operations
Public Affairs.
Christopher Bartels ’82
was promoted
to Clinical Professor of Surgery at the
University of Pittsburgh School of
Medicine.
Scott Thrun ’82
is developing a new
build 34-story, 401 roomHilton Hotel
onW. 54th Street in New York City. The
development is worth $70,000,000 and
will open in early 2014.
Paul (Buddy) Borowiak ’84
celebrated
his 20th wedding anniversary and
his 20th anniversary at UBSWealth
Management. His son, Jack, is a
freshman at CHS.
Richard Kralik ’84
just started a new
position with Capgemini Consulting
as a manager in their supply chain
consulting practice. His two boys are
doing great. Matthew is a freshman at
the University of Georgia and Michael
is a freshman in high school.
Angelo Antonucci ’86
is married to
Leanne and has three-year old twins
named Sophia and Louis.
Joel Sciascia ’88
started teaching a new
graduate class at NYU in the Engineering
Program called Construction Law.
Stanley Bowman ’91
is general
manager of the Chicago Blackhawks in
the National Hockey League. He served as
GM as the teamwon the Stanley Cup in
2013 and 2010.
Robert Eloff ’92
is married to Melissa
Szematowicz. They have two children:
Jordan, seven years old and Tyler, ten
years old. Rob is a Buffalo Police Officer.
Melissa is the In-service Coordinator at
Father Baker’s Facility. They have two
dogs Toby and Tucker.
Joseph Artanis ’94
was honored during
the Miami-Dade Fire Department Award
Ceremony with the Silver Medal of
Valor for acts of bravery at the Miami
International Airport fuel fire.
David Boyd ’95
and his wife Susan
celebrated the birth of their first child,
Isabelle, on August 25, 2010. David is a
radiologist for Progressive Radiology, a
private practice group in theWashington,
D.C. area.
Mark Starosielec ’95
is an attorney in
Buffalo and his wife, Jaclyn, is a teacher in
Orchard Park. They live in Hamburg with
their children, Sophia 6, Tate 3 and
Reed 1.
James Comerford ’96
currently resides
in Shaker Heights, Ohio with his wife,
Michelle, and 2 children; Jimmy IV who
is 4 years old and John who is 2. They
were recently back at CHS for the Hall
of Fame Induction.
Darren Fenn ’97
was inducted into
the Canisius College Sports Hall of Fame
on January 19, 2013. Previously, he
was voted a member of the “All-Century”
team at Canisius College. He has been
playing international basketball
since college.
Bradley Ertel ’98
is currently an
attending physician on the medical
rehabilitation unit at South Buffalo
Mercy Hospital.
Joshua Malo ’98
received his BA
in Biophysics from Johns Hopkins
University in 2002. He then received
his M.D. fromAlbert Einstein College of
Medicine. He currently works in Internal
Medicine/Pulmonology at the University
of Arizona Medical Center. His wife is
Jessie Pettit, MD. She works in Family and
Community Health at the University of
Arizona Medical Center. They have two
daughters ages 2 and 4.
