Robert “Rob” Schoellkopf ’00 is a familiar face at Canisius
High School and no stranger to the world of finance.
Named vice president of finance and chief financial officer
at Canisius High School in February of this year, Mr.
Schoellkopf brings a unique combination of accounting
experience and knowledge of Jesuit education to his
role. Following graduation from Canisius, Mr. Schoellkopf
earned both a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an
MBA in finance from Loyola College in Maryland.
He earned his CPA and worked as an auditor for Ernst
& Young in Baltimore and then in the firm’s Buffalo
office. Prior to joining Canisius, he was with NOCO
Energy where he worked as a senior accounting
executive alongside company vice president and CFO
and Canisius High School alumnus, Michael Bradley ’80.
As CFO at Canisius, Mr. Schoellkopf is responsible for
managing the financial operations of the school, including
budgeting, financial analysis and reporting, accounting,
banking, investment management, and risk management.
He is a member of the school’s senior leadership team

He and his wife, Sally – married by former Canisius principal
Rev. Jack Mattimore, S.J. ’76 – reside in Buffalo with two
future Crusaders, sons Jack (2026) and Charlie (2028), and
daughter Grace.

Canisius High School is pleased to announce the
appointment of Craig Harris as the new vice president of
institutional advancement.
Mr. Harris joins Canisius with a strong background in
advancement and alumni relations in the higher education
field. He has held a number of positions at Hilbert College
for the past seven years including director of alumni relations,
director of development and most recently associate vice
president for development. Prior to that, he held student
affairs and similar posts at Long Island University,
St. Lawrence University and State University of New York
College at Fredonia.
Mr. Harris earned a bachelor of arts degree in communication
from SUNY Fredonia and a master of science degree in
student personnel administration from State University of
New York College at Buffalo. A resident of Lake View, NY,
Mr. Harris is a trustee of Kenmore Mercy Foundation,
aboardmemberofValleyCommunityAssociation, and served
as development committee chair of
Graycliff Conservancy. He also
served as a member of Our Lady of
Perpetual Help (Blessed John Paul II)
Strategic Planning Committee. Mr.
Harris and his wife, Denise, reside in
Buffalo with their children Abigail
and Andrew.
