Hails from:
Buffalo
College history:
Earned his bachelor’s degree
in political science in 2012 at Canisius College,
where he was a Dean’s List scholar, Pre-Law
Scholarship recipient, and member of the Pi
Sigma Alpha Political Science Honors Society.
Extracurriculars:
Served throughout his colle-
giate career as an assistant coach with Canisius
High School’s varsity football team. Coordinated
the Canisius College Community Days program
and was student leader of Canisius’ partnership
with Western New York colleges and universities
in the White House Office of Faith-Based and
Neighborhood Partnership’s President’s Interfaith
and Community Service Campus Challenge.
Why he wanted to join AVC:
“As a student at
Canisius, I was taught and often reminded of the
importance of giving back. The Alumni Volunteer
Corps is, I believe, an excellent opportunity for
me to dedicate my resources to giving back to
the institution that played a significant role in my
personal and intellectual development. I had every
intention of doing a gap year before graduate
school, and I can think of no better way to spend
that time than in service to Canisius High.”
What he hopes to achieve as an alumni
volunteer:
A sense of accomplishment by assist-
ing students to set and achieve their own personal
goals. As a coach, teacher, and volunteer, my
success will hopefully be in leaving a lasting
impression in the students’ lives by motivating
them to dream and accomplish big goals. I hope I
continue to grow intellectually and personally, but
I believe my greatest hope is to positively impact
the lives of as many students as I can.
Where you’ll see him:
Teaching government
courses part-time, coaching and working with the
Student Activities Office.
His plans once the program ends:
“I plan on
applying this fall for admittance to law school
for the following year. I’ve long been fascinated
with the law (and actually served last year as the
moderator of the CHS Mock Trial team). I’m the
odd person who enjoys reading Supreme Court
and appellate case decisions, so it is my hope and
goal to gain acceptance to and enroll in a presti-
gious law school.”

cafeteria and more. This year’s AVs, Christopher Narduzzo ’08 and Bryce Hopkins ‘08, bring academic excellence, wide-ranging interests
and enthusiasm to their roles.

Why he wanted to join AVC:

Canisius community that has helped to shape
me into the man I am today.”
What he hopes to achieve as an alumni volun-
teer:
“Teaching experience, service work, enhanc-
ing my faith life, and more firmly grasping where
my career path will lead me.”
Where you’ll see him:
Teaching English and math
part time, assisting the Office of Campus Ministry
and possibly coaching hockey.
