Mr. Frank Pfalzer ‘41
and his wife Pat
are enjoying retirement with their children
and grandchildren, traveling, golfing,
playing bridge, reading and photography.
Mr. Robert Kresse ‘45
was named a
distinguished alumnus by Canisius
College in November 2010. He initiated
restoration of the “Genesee Gateway”
historic block in downtown Buffalo and
was recently honored by Preservation
Buffalo Niagara.
Mr. WilliamGriffin ‘45
took up golf last
year at 83 and learned some new words.
Dr. Richard Romanowski ‘49
is working
with the St. Vincent de Paul Society of St.
Gregory the Great Parish.
Mr. Russell Rosati ‘49
is enjoying his
17th year of retirement.
Mr. Vincent Christ ‘49
retired 20 years
ago at 59 and looks forward to the Class
of 1949 summer lunch “get togethers” in
Buffalo.

is retired and loving it!

is
celebrating four generations at Canisius
High School—three dentists and hopefully
a fourth.

recently retired
as director of corporate logistics for East
Penn Mfg. Co. Inc.
Mr. Gerard Sendker ‘56
is retired and
travels to visit his two sons—one in Alaska
and one in California.
Mr. Bruce Holmes ‘57
is retired from
the United States Air Force and is
currently the director of military programs
at Burlington County College.
Mr. Thomas Kowalczyk ‘60
retired
from Reiman & Georger Corp. He and his
wife, Joyce, have three grandchildren—
Keith, Michelle and Nicholas.

serves as
admissions field representative for the U.S.
Merchant Marine Academy, Kings Point, N.Y.
Dr. Joseph Ralabate ‘62
is chief of sur-
gery at Kenmore Mercy Hospital and is a
CIPA Board of Directors member.
Mr. Carmen Gentile ‘69
was appointed
to the board of directors of the Holy Cross
Head Start Program, Inc.
Mr. James Briggs ‘70
has a new position
as disaster recovery manager at Eastman
Kodak Company.
Mr. Michael Jay ‘71
is a faculty member
at the University of North Carolina working
on developing new drugs for the treatment
of contaminated individuals following a
nuclear terrorism event.
Mr. Michael Faltisco ‘72
has been living
in Seattle for the past 17 years. He is cur-
rently working in an emergency room as
a mental health professional. Seattle is a
beautiful city, Not as rainy as most people
think. Classmates of 1972, call if you are
visiting.
Mr. Michael Bednarek ‘73
is celebrating
the birth of his second grandchild, Jacob
William, on June 29, 2011.
Mr. Carl Emerling ‘73
has been nomi-
nated for the “Time Magazine” “Dealer of
the Year Award” for new car dealers in the
United States.
Mr. James Jakiel ‘74
is currently vice
president for Deluxe Anodizing finishing in
Buffalo. He is married to wife, Rita (nee
Sellers), and still resides in Angola. No
kids, three cats.
Mr. Steven Reszka ‘77
is the owner
of the award-winning Reszka & Assoc.,
a national marketing communications and
entertainment booking firm based
in Buffalo
Mr. James Miracky ‘77
just finished his
first year as dean of the College of Arts &
Sciences at Loyola University in Maryland.
Mr. Edward Haley ‘86
coaches the St.
Albans rowing team in Washington, D.C.
This May the team won the Stotesbury
Cup in Philadelphia, beating St. Joe’s
Prep of Philadelphia and St. Andrew’s of
Delaware and 35 other competitors in the
Senior 8.
Mr. Thomas Cechini ‘91
and his wife,
Marlene, have three children and live in
Padget, Bermuda. Hope to have them
back in the U.S.A. soon!
Mr. Jonathan Lamb ‘91
serves as in-house
counsel for Cummings Properties, LLC, in
Massachusetts.
Mr. Sean McPhee ‘95
was named to
“Buffalo Business First” newspaper’s 40
under forty for 2011. Sean is an associate
with the Philips Lytle law firm.
Mr. Michael Bogdan ‘01
recently
graduated from Dickinson and Middlebury
College and received his national teacher
certification this year. He teaches high
school students in Carlisle, Penn.
Mr. Justin Parrish ‘06
graduated John
Carroll University with a B.A. in Spanish
and was a member of the National Spanish
Honors Society. After graduation he joined
the Navy.
Mr. John Collard ‘07
was recently
inducted into the National History Honor
Society: Phi Alpha Theta.
Mr. Maurice Cooper ‘07
graduated from
Canisius College in 2011 and was com-
missioned as an Army 2nd Lieutenant. He
is stationed at Ft. Drum, N.Y., with the
10th Mountain Division.
Mr. Andrew Grosner ‘08
has been
accepted into the Pi Mu Epsilon
Mathematical Honor Society. He recently
received $5,000 in research grants for
study in GPS mobile data mining and
mobile activity recognition.
Mr. Casey Anderson ‘10
was named to
the Loyola University of Chicago Dean’s
List of the College of Arts & Sciences. He
studies psychology.
