Canisius Connections
• class of 2001
• teacher of history, government, economics
• director of student activities
• varsit y football team assistant head coach
The transformation that happens from the time a boy comes in the Blue Doors at 14 to the time
he walks out those same iconic doors as a young man four years later has been the most meaningful
aspect of Canisius to me. The experience can be life-changing because of our relentless pursuit of
educating the entire person. A young man leaves the school ready to be a productive member of
society, someone who seeks to always be charitable of his time, talent and resources.
The reason our young men are always “most likely to succeed” is because of our authentic, real
world education. Our students strive to become not only scholars but also outstanding professionals
and citizens.
Catholic, Jesuit education is an important gift ofered in Western New York. Our great work is
contingent on the incredible support of our donors. Whether you are an alumnus, parent or friend of
Canisius, your commitment makes everything we do possible. Thank you for your continued support.
