Canisius Connections
• class of 1952
• parent of two canisius gr aduates
• brothers and father also alumni
• annual fund volunteer
• class of ‘52 agent
The most signifcant part of my Canisius experience was, without a doubt, the education.
The Jesuit theology and discipline, not to mention the life-long friendships, also meant a great deal.
The school today is a most impressive institution, and that doesn’t come cheap. Most of the students
receive some sort of fnancial support, funded by the alumni and various fundraisers.
A Canisius education is the best way I know toward a brighter future for families, the United States
and the world. Many of my classmates agree that Canisius had the most important efect on our
impressionable youth. We learned proportionally more there than in college! And anyone who
knows our ‘52 class (yes, some other classes, too) knows that this group was successful as a whole: in
business, law, medicine, technology—in life. We all feel “success” means the privilege of giving back.
